I am a current EHHOP patient and need to speak with a doctor.  What should I do?

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911.  If it is not an emergency, please call the EHHOP clinic main number at (877) 372-4161 and leave a message with your name and a call-back number.  A clinic team member will reach out to you as soon as possible.

How do I pay for appointments that do not happen at EHHOP?

For patients that are not completely paid for by the EHHOP clinic, EHHOP patients are eligible for charity care from the Mount Sinai Hospital.  Charity care allows you to pay for appointments at a reduced rate based on your reported income.

“How do I apply for charity care and Emergency Medicaid health insurance?

The Mount Sinai Resource, Entitlement, and Advocacy Program Office (REAP) will help you apply for charity care.  You can call the REAP office directly at 212-423-2800 Monday through Friday between 9 am and 5 pm.  If you have any questions, please reach out to your case manager or call the EHHOP clinic main number at (877) 372-4161 and leave a message with your name and a call-back number.

How will I get my medications that the EHHOP doctors prescribe?

The EHHOP pharmacy team works with the Mount Sinai hospital to get medications for you for free. Some medications can be given to you during your clinic visit.  For other medications that have to be filled by the pharmacy, you can pick them up at the Mount Sinai Pharmacy, which is located at One Gustave L. Levy Pl, New York, NY 10029.  The Mount Sinai Pharmacy is open from Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Please do not pick up medications on Mondays before 12:00 p.m.

I need a refill of my medication.  How do I get a refill?

Please call 212-241-0485 at least 2 days before you will run out of your medications and leave a message with the following information: spell your last name, spell your first name, give the medication name(s), give your phone number, and that say you are an EHHOP patient.

Your medication will be ready the next business day. The Mount Sinai Pharmacy is open Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm., but do not pick up medications on Mondays before 12:00 p.m.
